Workplace Giving & Matching Gifts
Participating in your employer’s matching gift or workplace giving program is an easy way to support the CdLS Foundation.
Would you like to see your gift have twice the impact for the CdLS Foundation? Participating in a matching gift program makes your donation go farther. Many companies encourage employees to donate to charities by matching the contributions, in some cases dollar-for-dollar. Some companies may even match gifts made by retirees or spouses of employees.
Check with your employer’s human resources department to find out about its matching gift policy. Most companies provide a form that you complete and send to the Foundation with your contribution. We then fill out and return the form to your company, which sends a contribution to Foundation in your name.

Workplace giving is an easy way to support the Foundation. Once you sign up for your employer’s workplace giving program, a set amount (you decide) is deducted from each paycheck. Those funds are then sent to the Foundation, usually quarterly. Some companies have their own workplace giving program, while others participate in the following programs:
Combined Federal Campaign: Federal employees and military personnel can support the Foundation through the annual Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), which runs September 1 through December 15. The CdLS Foundation’s CFC identification number is 1556.
United Way: If your company participates in a United Way campaign, you’ll need to write in “Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation” as we do not have a United Way identification number.
